Everything You Need to Start Mountain Biking

Mountain biking can be scary.

Sometimes pre-riding anxiety can get the best of me, and I’m more likely to either not enjoy it, or worse—get injured and never want to get on a bike again (or at least not in the foreseeable future.)

My secret to having a good ride is to stick with the biking basics:

💧Hydration: I personally don’t enjoy carrying backpacks when I ride because it puts stress on my shoulders and I am not able to move as well. Instead of carrying a backpack, try a water hip belt or take a half-filled bladder and stuff it in your adorable Rogue Panda bag.

🍊Snacks: Mountain biking requires a lot of energy, so it's important to bring snacks that FUEL THE STOKE-no matter how unconventional.

🩲Comfort: What works for one biker may not work for another; so dress for the ride that you want. If that means wearing a diaper on your ass so you don’t hurt your privates, wear that diaper with pride!

💋Confidence: Learning to trust yourself is one of the best parts of biking; dress the part and wear whatever the f*ck you wanna wear.

What’s your secret to a good adventure?
